Pianos rarely live alone. There is usually a stage piano or a controller, an amp or two, a kit in the corner, a PA for gigs and a desk full of studio gear. When the piano needs storing, all of that needs somewhere to go as well, and a damp garage or a friend's loft is not it.
We store music equipment in the same climate-controlled facility as the pianos, so a whole music room or studio can go into storage together and come back together. You can store gear alongside a piano or store the gear on its own, whichever fits what you are doing.
Electronics hate damp
Acoustic pianos suffer from humidity. Electronic gear suffers from it in a different way. Cold, damp storage lets condensation form on circuit boards, connectors and speaker cones. Over time that means corroded contacts, crackling pots, failed outputs and the slow rot that kills gear that was working fine when it went away.
Drum heads slacken and shells move with damp. Amp tubes and transformers do not enjoy a cold, wet store. Cables and connectors corrode. A steady, dry climate is what keeps all of it ready to plug in and play, rather than a box of repair jobs when you get it back.

Everything is fully insured from the moment we collect it to the day we bring it back, and the facility is monitored around the clock. If your gear is already cased, all the better, but cased or not, it is protected for the journey and the stay.
