It is clean and dry, and the temperature and humidity are actively managed and held steady all year. That stability is the foundation of everything else, because a stable room is what keeps the wood, the tuning and the finish in the condition they arrived in.
Conditions are monitored rather than set and forgotten, so the environment stays inside the range a piano needs through summer and winter alike. How pianos are kept
Inside the store, no piano sits on a cold floor and no piano is stacked against another. Every instrument is kept up off the ground and properly spaced, so air can circulate around each one and nothing leans on anything else. Uprights are stored upright, grands are stored flat on padded boards with their legs bagged and crated alongside.
The building is kept pest-controlled and fire precautions are in place, because a clean, dry, well-managed room is the easiest kind to keep free of the things that damage timber and felt. The aim is a calm, stable environment where a piano can sit untouched for as long as you need it to.

Every instrument is logged and tracked against your booking from the moment it comes in. We record what the piano is, when it arrived, where it sits in the building and which booking it belongs to, so there is never any doubt about whose piano is whose or where yours is.
That record matters for institutions and executors who need things accountable, and it matters for private owners too. When you book a re-delivery, we already know exactly which instrument is yours and how it was protected, so it goes back out the same way it came in.
